After five years of refining his craft, and adopting a deep respect for exceptional workmanship. Adam founded Velsen Homes— Drawing on a lifetime of knowledge and insight, he has shaped the company into a trusted name known for delivering high-quality homes. Kaleb Velsen / COO, Project Management
With more then a decade of experience in the construction industry, Kaleb Velsen has been closely involved in delivering a wide range of residential, multi-family, and commercial projects throughout Vancouver Island and beyond. Beginning his career as a hands-on carpenter building custom homes alongside his father, Kaleb developed a strong understanding of quality craftsmanship from the ground up.
After completing his Builder’s Licence at BCIT, Kaleb transitioned into a leadership role at Velsen Homes, where he plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the company, project management, and procurement. Known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and practical approach, Kaleb helps ensure each project is delivered efficiently, to a high standard of quality, and with long-term value.
Keana Velsen / Office Manager, Social Media Marketing, Web design.
Keana Velsen manages the day-to-day administrative operations at Velsen Homes while overseeing office management, social media marketing, and website design. playing a key role in keeping systems organized.
Josee Velsen / Consultant
Josee Velsen oversees human resources at Velsen Homes and has been with the company since its beginning. Her long-standing involvement and people-first approach play an important role in supporting the team and maintaining a positive, respectful work environment.

At Velsen Homes, we believe that building strong communities is just as important as building quality homes. We are deeply connected to Gabriola Island and the greater Vancouver Island community, and we make a conscious effort to give back in meaningful, hands-on ways.
Throughout the year, our team participates in community days where we come together to support local families in need—helping with storm clean-ups, property maintenance, and projects that may otherwise be difficult or inaccessible. In addition, we proudly support local community programs and annual toy drives each Christmas, contributing both time and resources to causes that directly impact families and individuals in our area.
